The Chicken Soup With Rice song is purely nostalgic but now that I think of it Pierre is a tad disturbing... (although not quite as disturbing as some of the books I was read as a kid!) Actually lots of the books I had read to me were about animals eating people... no wonder I'm still somewhat nervous around dogs, lions, fat cats...
